The classic Mount Chaberton Skyrace will be back in 2019

Sunday 30 June at 9.00 am the Skyrace will start from piazza Europa in Cesana Torinese, which is part of the Skyrunner® Italy Series, the most important circuit in Italy and the most important tool to promote Skyrunning in Italy.
Simultaneously with the Skyrace, will be disputed the Chaberton K2.
Now in its third edition, it is a race of only ascent, a double Vertical Kilometer (2000 meters of positive altitude gain), with a lenght of about 8 km.
The start of the Chaberton K2 will be at 9:00 a.m. on June 30th. in the village of Fenils, to be able to capture the soul of the race, the climb, the effort, the challenge to the last meter to cross the finish line at the Chaberton at 3130 mt!
The 2019 edition is enriched by a race: the first Chaberton Speed Run !!!
This is a race with a lenght of 9 km, on a difference in altitude of 285 meters D+, the competition will take place in the choreographic pinewood that extends at the foot of Mount Chaberton.
Dedicated to those approaching the world of trail , to those who are preparing for longer journeys, to those who do not feel ready yet to face the Chaberton, to all those who want to spend some time in company surrounded by unspoiled nature.

Hotel Etoile des Neiges will host participants and audience of the Monte Chaberton Skyrace, offering its typical mountain-style structure, with spacious and finely furnished rooms that offer a serene and relaxing environment, and are equipped with all the comforts modern.
The restaurant Etoile des Neiges, managed by Chef Fabio Metello, is able to satisfy the most demanding palates and offers an extensive menu with typical dishes of the area and many ingredients at zero km. It will welcome you in the beautiful room with wooden ceiling and exposed beams and in its terrace that allows you to admire the view over the Alps and the high mountain sunsets with Mount Chaberton in the foreground!
